Timber Development UK (TDUK) has been formed from the merger of two of the largest and longest established organisations in the supply chain - the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and Timber Research and Development Association (TRADA). Bringing these two associations together has created the largest, most comprehensive supply chain body in the UK, spanning from sawmill to specifier and all points in between. The Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP) is an internationally recognised due diligence system developed exclusively for TDUK members to meet the requirements of its Sustainability Code of Conduct and the UK Timber Regulation. TDUK requires all members who supply timber to sign up to its Responsible Purchasing Commitments and implement an environmental due diligence system.
